Sessional I.T Class Coordinator
The Landmark Centre in Little Horton is looking for a part time I.T Class Coordinator to plan, promote and deliver I.T classes to the community. The work is sessional and paid at £7.50 per hour for 8 hours a week. The post is funded for a year initially but further opportunities may become available dependant on funding.
We currently offer free training and internet access to the community 3 times a week from our IT suite which is situated within All Saints Church.
We are looking for a proactive, creative person who can revitalise our IT sessions, targeting the classes to the needs of the community and promoting digital inclusion.
You will need to be a motivated self-starter who is both reliable and conscientious with a good level of IT knowledge. You should be able to engage with people from a range of backgrounds, be able to lead sessions confidently and have the energy to take a project from initial idea through to completion.
You will also be responsible for maintaining our network, updating systems, resolving issues and taking care of the IT room, keeping it tidy and presentable.
The hours are flexible and a pattern of working can be agreed with the Centre Coordinator.
Classes are currently held on:
Tuesday 6:30pm-8pm
Wednesday 1:30pm -4:30pm
Saturday 1:30pm-3pm.
